Eric R. Dawson – Owner/DJ/MC

Eric began his DJ career in 2002 while attending Merrimack College.  What started out with a great passion for music and spinning at high school dances, etc. quickly transitioned into a Wedding DJ career while searching for a DJ for his own wedding in 2005.
After 6 years of working under another DJ company, he struck out on his own to found Avid Entertainment in January of 2010 and has never looked back.

Eric is a true professional above all else – stopping at nothing to provide every couple he works with an absolute second-to-none experience. His extensive business background working for large Fortune 500 companies such as Morgan Stanley,JPMorgan Chase, and Visa coupled with over 9 years of DJ experience enabled him to provide THE absolute best Wedding DJ service in the business.  He will work with you to create the wedding of your dreams and his passion for weddings will show in every interaction you have with him.

John Pelliccio – DJ/MC

With more than twenty years of disc jockey and MC experience, DJ John “P” is ready to help make your wedding a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable occasion.  John’s experience includes hundreds of live events, from house parties to school dances and corporate functions of all types, and several years as an air personality on AM and FM radio.  However, his specialty is weddings.  In two decades in the business, he’s seen it all- from a spooky Halloween-themed wedding night to an outdoor ceremony and reception that was filmed and broadcast on a nationally syndicated PBS television show.  Whether your event is small and intimate or large and extravagant, DJ John will work with you to design an entertainment program that is just right for your big day.  His skills as a master of ceremonies help ensure that all of the special moments of your wedding day, from your introduction as husband and wife till your last dance of the evening are presented to your guests professionally and elegantly.  Backed up by a state-of-the-art Bose sound system, elegant dance floor lighting, and a top of the line selection of music, DJ John P is excited to be one of Avid Entertainment’s premier disc jockeys and looking forward to working with you!

Kevin Richman – DJ/MC

For over 25 years Kevin Richman has been creating memorable parties throughout New England. With a keen musical sense, a proficiency in reading a crowd to hone in on their musical tastes and the uncanny ability to work with guests of all ages, Kevin is an ideal choice for any type of celebration.

As a musician, Kevin is able to use his knowledge of music to set a dynamically vibrant tone at a party. His ability to choose the right song at the right time is a trademark that helps keep dance floors packed.

Kevin truly understands that he is not the star of the party. He sees himself as a tour guide, of sorts, leading the guests through the party one song at a time. Jay Senior – DJ/MC

Jay has been performing as a full time professional mobile Disc Jockey & Master of Ceremonies specializing in Weddings and Corporate events since 1993. As a member of the National Disc Jockey Association and the National Association of Mobile Entertainers, Jay is here to work with you on planning and providing the best entertainment for your special event.

Jay has provided sound and entertainment for National Recording Artists such as Jason Mraz, Jessica Simpson, The Bare Naked Ladies, Uncle Kracker, Vertical Horizon, Will Smith, Matchbox 20, Josh Kelly, Guster, The Bangels, Lifehouse, Liz Phair, and American Idol.
